Focus Relief has a vision for the future on how to use the art of photography to raise money and awareness to alleviate hunger in America. Let us know what you think. We welcome your ideas.
More Photos – We’re adding new photos almost daily. In theory, with a supply of limited-edition prints, we're eventually going to run out. Our founder, Tarik Trad, is committed to getting out and taking more gallery-quality photos that keep you coming back. In fact, he has some very exciting photography expeditions planned in the coming months – sign-up for our email newsletter or follow us on social media for the latest! The more photos we have in our gallery, the more selection we provide for our customers, and the more we sell. No brainer.
More Photographers – Let's be clear: This isn't about us – this is about alleviating hunger. The more photographers that get involved with us, the more exposure we get for them and, more importantly, for the cause.
Subscription-Based Service – Here’s an idea from one of our supporters. Pay a monthly or yearly fee, select a different photo each month. Stay tuned…
Finding More Ways to Alleviate Hunger – There's more than one way to alleviate hunger in America. We're discovering more community programs from organizations on the front lines supporting our mission. We won't stop until hunger is a thing of the past.
Events for Charities and Non-Profits – We have a collection of 25-30 mounted prints that are perfect to display as a gallery exhibit for helping community organizations whose programs share our mission to raise funds.
Designated Website Links for Specific Charities - This shouldn't be too hard to do. For example, tell your supporters to go www.focusrelief.com/xyzcharity and we'll take care of the rest. People are more likely to visit a website if they know the donation will go toward a charity they already support.
Become a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization – As many of you know, starting a non-profit organization is complicated, costly and time-consuming. Eventually, though, we believe it makes the most sense. Organizations that qualify as public charities under Internal Revenue Code 501(c)(3) are eligible for federal exemption from payment of corporate income tax. Less taxes means more for our partner organizations. Also, as a non-profit, when we sell a print, it will be our customers that receive a tax deduction minus the value of the print. More winning.
Add Related Services – For example, headshots and portraits, where a percentage of the service fee follows the formula of Photography for Charity.
Newsletter – Keeping you up-to-date and engaged with our activities, alerts, and special offers.
