From God we arrive and to Him we all shall return.
We are heartbroken by the passing of our friend and Focus Relief board member, Umar Hakim-Dey. A dear friend and an extraordinary human being, Umar was a leader who dedicated his life to bringing people and communities together for the greater good. He brought out the best in all of us through his kindness, humility, and gentle spirit. In truth, he was the best of us.
May God have mercy on his soul, accept his good deeds, forgive his shortcomings, and grant him Paradise. He will be deeply missed. We ask that you please keep Umar and his family in your prayers.
